Gary E. Steffen

Gary E. Steffen received his Bachelors Degree from Texas Tech University in 1980 with a major in Psychology, graduating summa cum laude. Before attending law school, he worked for seven years as a manager at J.C. Penney. He then attended Texas Tech School of Law and graduated with highest honors, ranking 2nd in a class of 173 students, and also served as Comments Editor on the Texas Tech Law Review.

Gary has significant experience in negotiating and drafting commercial leases. Prior to joining our firm in 1999, he gained valuable experience working as an associate attorney in a major downtown law firm. His prior management experience has aided him in understanding and effectively meeting the needs of our business clients. Gary practices in the areas of fiduciary litigation, business and real estate transactions and litigation.

Licensed by the Supreme Court of the State Bar of Texas, Gary is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Business Litigation and Real Estate Sections of the Dallas Bar Association.

His hobbies include reading and chess.
